Find an event from its organizer’s current information, then check whether the agenda fits your goal. This page does not publish an unverified calendar of dates or venues.

Define what you want to do

Choose a goal: try a tool, work on a task, hear research, or meet practitioners. A conference talk and a hands-on workshop serve different purposes.

Check the organizer’s event page

Record the event URL, date, timezone, venue or remote format, agenda, prerequisites, price, and cancellation terms. Confirm details on the organizer’s site rather than a copied directory entry.

If a listing has no year, a stale booking link, or conflicting dates, ask the organizer before making travel or payment plans.

Ask about the practical work

For a workshop, ask what participants will make, how the output will be checked, how much practice time is available, and what materials they can keep.

Example question:

I want to practice turning meeting notes into a checked action list.
Does the session include time to work on that task and review the result?
What should I prepare, and which accounts or tools are required?

Make a simple decision record
